App

The app is the heart of WhatPulse. It runs permanently in the background and tracks your stats reliably and resource-efficiently. Available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. What gets tracked:

Keyboard usage
Mouse clicks and distance traveled
Scrolls
Download and upload
System uptime
App usage

The data is tracked very accurately. We couldn't find any discrepancies in keys or mouse clicks.

WhatPulse doesn't sell user data and everything is displayed on the WhatPulse website. If you don't want to show private data, you can set it to private and keep it from the public.

The website shows you all your stats! From your own to all users who use WhatPulse. You can compare worldwide stats on leaderboards, marvel at global statistics, and analyze your personal dashboard.

I've been using WhatPulse myself since 2011. Since then, it's been the first app I install on my computers. This way I have 100% meaningful statistics about my computer usage..

For me, WhatPulse is the tool that every stats freak should have on their computer. You get great analyses, can create exports and evaluate them in your own spreadsheets, or use third-party programs (like our PulseView app).
